Baltimore, MD - GLCCB, the oldest LGBT organization in the Baltimore City area, will celebrate the grand re-opening of the multi-purpose center and art gallery on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. located at 541 E. Chase Street, Baltimore, MD. The Admission is free, however, a suggested donation of $10.00 is encouraged.The celebration is a fundraiser to benefit the GLCCB & Gay Life Magazine AIDS Project and will include an auction and reception.The first exhibit at GLCCB Art Gallery and Multi-Purpose Center will feature the illustrious works of Maurice “MOE.” Bradford, Jr. of Gallery MOE. at www.moesartdesign.com . Without a fully developed retail district to participate in this Holiday shopping season, yet, what's Pigtown to do? Well, this is what we do.....Pigtown Main Street presents "ARTDROMEDA....a constellation of artists" a cool four day music and arts fest where artists and those that love them can come together to display, discuss, enjoy and purchase art. To round out this cornucopia of creativity, there will be music, film, dance and several street artists creating large scale works of art to be created during the event at 761-767 Washington Blvd and 803 Washington Blvd.
The overall event will take place indoors in several commercial properties along the 700 and 800 block of Washington Blvd. THIS EVENT IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE Be a part of the Pigtown stimulus plan.
